We would like to draw your attention to the upcoming deadline for the submission of topics and symposia of 3 July 2018.

The EURAM 2019 Conference will be held in Lisbon, Portugal, on 26, 27 and 28 June.

Our conference theme is “Exploring the Future of Management: Facts, Fashion and Fado. The last few years have been marked by several migration movements that not only transform and enrich the human landscape of many countries but appear to be a long-lasting trend. How to qualify and integrate these migrants in the workplace? How to manage an increasingly diverse and multicultural workforce?  Couple this with the challenge of robotisation and scholars will have multiple reasons for wanting to continue their mission of probing into and exploring the future. Management is about doing things through people. Who are these new people? The behaviour of organisations vis-à-vis the society is increasingly scrutinised and its impact cannot be ignored. Help making EURAM 2019 a forum where new propositions and answers will be debated, where new theories will be exposed to address the many problems that challenge organisations and their management.

We are pleased to invite you to collaborate in the programme building by proposing topics for discussion and symposia for the 19th EURAM Annual Conference. Do not hesitate to contact the relevant Special Interest Groups (SIGs) chairs by email. Information about the SIGs can be found here.

b) Encourage lively discussion and presentation of alternative views,
c) Attract the interest of a sufficient number of scholars,
d) Engage with issues that cut across existing SIGs, and
e) Can be accomplished in a 90min window.

With arms wide open we, the EURAM 2019 organising team at ISCTE, welcome the academic community to join EURAM 2019 and meet in Lisbon at the end of June 2019.  We hope that EURAM 2019 will contribute not only to the academic enrichment of all participants but also to a better knowledge of our university and of our city. While in Lisbon, get immersed in the most luminous of lights, contemplate the indigo blue of the sky, let yourself get lost in the meandering streets and finally meet the river that will embrace you as it embraces the city. Be most welcome!
